Winding Down the Days

In the last few weeks of the semester, things have been going fairly well for the boys.  Projects are being worked on, fast and hard.  Pfeiffer is managing to bring his various endeavors to their closes; Mandel is hard at work on his study of the human mind; Dave presented his senior paper the other day!  Brady and Zander may have been eaten by wolves.  However, the residents and frequent visitors of the funpartment have had their minds strangely synced recently - bear witness to the glory that was GREEN DAY!

Height order was purely coincidental

And then, from the same day!
Brady's shirt has a mustache on its eyes

There was also a famous "Nina's House Party" this weekend.  Many were in attendance, including three funpartment boys Zander, Brady, and Dave.  They rocked and rolled all night and partied every day.

There was a fire

Getting Ready to Give Thanks

It was a fairly eventful week for the boys of the Funpartment!

Brady is starring in McDaniel College's production of "Wonder of the World"!  Break a leg Brady!

In other news, Thursday evening there was a pilgrimage to Buffalo Wild Wings.  Mandel, Dave, Lucas, Annie, and Tricia went for 60 cents boneless Thursday!

Pictured: four crowns of gold for eating wings,
and one crown of blood for eating men.

Pfeiffer was the host of the event,
as well as resident bald-joke dumpster.
On Wednesday evening, the cocktails crew, including Funpartment members Pfeiffer and Mandel, put on the "Roast of Colin Miller."  Lots of epithets were used, crass jokes told, and unbecoming gestures made.  Here are some pictures!

Instead of a roast, Mandel delivered a touching sermon.

Really, I don't have anything else to say about the week, except for these next two pictures.  So here they are (with captions...).

A mother's nightmare

The Eagles won, or something.

Back in the Saddle Again

Well, yes, it's becoming unfortunately longer and longer between blogpartment posts.  But that doesn't mean that nothing is happening in the funpartment!!

Pfeiffer and Dave have been in TWO count them, TWO Dangersauce shows since the last post!  There was a very spooky, albeit very short, Halloween show, and a downright funny Homecoming show!  The Sauce has raised quite a bit of money from their recent shows, too!  Plus, the boys shaved Julia's head!

While some claimed it was staged, Dangersauce's
latent hatred of Julia was revealed that day.

But boy, those are some snazzy shirts, no?

Speaking of homecoming, we had a homecoming party!

Those damn Phi Mu's tried to ruin this fun.  Remember that.

The boys of the funpartment registered for classes this past Monday.  Dave and Pfeiffer beat the McDaniel Plan and had a retroactive credit applied!  Huray!

Speaking of Pfeiffer!

If you look very closely.... oh nevermind.

Well That Took a While...

Fondest apologies for the long delay, blogpartment faithful.  Midterms and papers have consumed the Funpartment for a while, but we're back on track.

This is our track

Speaking of which, we had a few parties during fall break!  Only Dave, Mandel, and Zander were the funpartment boys who braved the fall break at school, but boy did we have fun!

We played some indoor baseball, of which a video was, of course, made.  However, I need to find a website that will let me get sound effects from youtube without giving me a virus before I add it to the blogpartment, so sit tight for that.  It's coming I promise.

In other news, Dave flew out to California to take part in the CBS tv show "The Price is Right," and he won A NEW CAR!! Okay, so it's not new.  It's not even kind of new.  It's a '92 Cutlass Supreme, but he loves it, and is now entirely mobile!  Dave wants to send shout outs to his brother Jeff, his girlfriend Heather, and his Mom for helping make this happen!

And now, for a picture!
Tricia had not slept in three days,
and began to hallucinate.

It was Nina's birthday!!  Many members of the Funpartment went down to a local speakeasy in order to celebrate with our friend who turned 21.  Nina had her first taste of alcohol that night, and boy was she pleased.  She and the girls sang karaoke! Again, there's a video, but because my phone is dumb, no sound.  So once I add some music to it, it will be on here.

On the way back, we found yet another amphibian friend! I forget what we named this little guy, and the picture isn't good, but here he is.

The angriest toad in the world.
We held him for a minute or two, and then let him go back to his wet grass paradise.  All is well.

Haloween for the funpartment boys!  Some of us are going to the big DC rally tomorrow.  Some are staying put.  But there's sure to be funny pictures of costumes and such on the way real soon!

Before we break...

Another day, another dollar.  The boys of the funpartment are chugging along through the semester, and are finishing up their week of midterm exams!

Friends, relaxing after a long day's study.
Annie, frantically tending her Farmville garden.
Andy had just finished buying stocks.

On Wednesday there was a Dangersauce show!  Funpartment frequenter Andy, and our own Mike Pfeiffer performed.  Dave would have been in the show, but was presenting a piece of his senior seminar project!  Go Dave! But Dangersauce and McDaniel alum, as well as friend to all of the Funpartment Boys, Chris "C-Mo" Molloy stopped by the show, and the Funpartment!

Brady had hacked Annie's Facebook account,
and was savagely destroying her Farmville crops,
as well as undermining Andy's investment strategies.

Left for Dead 2 fever overtook the boys this week, about a year too late, but nonetheless, the boys, Tricia, and Andy have, at various times, found themselves involved in a Zombie attack or two.

Brady's Strawberry milk.  Unrelated to zombies,
but some claim it's the only thing keeping him alive.
This weekend should be fun for the boys.  Most of them will be going home for Fall break, but the lucky few who stay, there should be ample opportunity for merriment.

On an unrelated note, Dave ordered a Paula Dean Cast Iron Skillet from Boscovs!  It claims to be pre-seasoned, but Dave suspects that to be a bald faced lie.

Damn you Paula Dean, That's residue!
But still, $9.99 for a 10'' cast iron skillet?  Yes please.

Updates from the weekend are sure to be forthcoming!

This Week in Fun

What fun what fun.

This week, Dave went to McDaniel College's President's house for a meal and a chat with the rest of the tourguides!  When asked why we're allowed to have beer and wine but liquor is forbidden, Dr. Casey replied "I don't know."  Fight the power!

The playoffs started yesterday!  If you follow baseball, you might be aware that Roy Halladay pitched his second no hitter this year, and only the second all time in the post season.

When asked about the no hitter, Mike
said "Yeah, that's pretty cool I guess."
The "Leaning Tower of Fried Rice" is $22.50

In a comedy of errors, the boys of the Funpartment found themselves ordering Chinese food on three separate occasions yesterday.  First, Mandel and Annie ordered some for dinner.  Lucas, visiting, was so enticed by the smell that he decided to order some.  Later in the evening, Pfeiffer succumbed to a similar effect, and ordered food for Tricia, Dave, Zander, and himself.

And now for a picture of Zander, with caption!!

Today, Zander found his glasses, and found
that he had the ability to read!

Brady has been MIA for many hours of the day, doing his work on McDaniel College's "Doll's House."  All of the boys of the Funpartment support him, and will be attending the show at some point or another.  Break a leg Brady!

Hide your kids.  Hide your wife. And hide your husband.

Last Saturday, Dave added 5 goldfish to Miles' aquarium.  He left miles alone for 15 minutes, and came back to find only a turtle and the 4 minnows that are left.  There are only two explanations - either miles cannot see white as well as he can see orange (all of the minnows being of a light grayish color), or he is simply incensed by the color orange and as such hates goldfish.  Anyways, today is supposed to be his feeding day, but he's only getting half a spoon of food this week.

About last night...

The boys of the funpartment had good times last night!  A few friends were invited over, and they shared in a few quality beers and cocktails.  There were some powerful hours.

Tricia enjoys a roll
Lucas is genuinely happy!

Andy takes a taste test
Rachele doing homework at the party as usual

Lucas loves the Funpartment thiiiiiiis much

Look it's Nina!

Today the boys are going to have their own separate Saturday activities.  Dave is going with Tricia and a friend from home to the Orioles game!  Pictures surely to come.  Brady is going to be at rehearsal all day.  Mandel is going to be babysitting.  Pfeiffer will be presumably getting back from Max's and eating lunchables.  And nobody knows what Zander is going to do because we don't know where he is!

Oh my god a frog!

Tricia and Dave stumbled upon an amphibian friend this morning.  His name is Twizzler.  Tricia desperately wanted to keep him, but felt that he was just too big!

Twizzler's camouflage is not nearly as good as he thinks it is.

We just thought that he was the cutest little guy that we had seen since Miles.  Miles, by the way, was not very happy about this.  He is quite used to being the cutest little green aquatic thing around, and he wants it to stay that way, though he does admire Twizzler for his freedom.

Oh! And guess what!?  We got a video, so you too can hear Twizzler's glorious sounds!

Friday at the Funpartment

The week went by quickly for most of us.  Now the weekend is here, and with it comes adventure!  The boys were all busy getting prepared for the fun sure to ensue:
Brady and his twin from the glass world shaving

Tricia, removing the pepsi in an attempt to create
a good hiding spot for herself
Pfeiffer found the time to take Dave and Tricia to the store.  Ground turkey and lunchables are on sale at safeway!

Pfeiffer, searching his internet thesaurus for just the perfect word

Bisenius invited the gang over to the Friedman/Phife Dawg/Bisenius compound for some relaxing tonight, so the boys of the Funpartment will surely be in attendance.

But, like always, we're sure to get our work done before heading out.  Pfeiffer and Ghostworld went to Max's house, and boy did they look snazzy when they left.

Updates about the events of the night later!

A very Funpartment Tuesday

Well, we're now fairly well into the semester now, and we're still going strong.  Everyone had a kind-of family dinner today!  Dave and Tricia made spaghetti with Pfeiffer's meatballs (heh heh heh).  So those three ate spaghetti.  All the while, Emma, who was visiting, was crafting up a whole mess of the General Tso's chicken.  Mike made the rice, but before he started the rice cooker, he spilled a cup of rice all over the floor!  Oh no!  Well, at least the knife drawer will be kept nice and dry.  The Funpartment Rule Goblin was visiting as well.  He spent most of the time thinking up riddles to baffle any possible unwanted intruders.

Zander, in an attempt to show that he, and not Mike Mandel, was the alpha-male of the Funpartment Tribe, took all of the cardboard recycling to the garbage room at once!  He almost made it too.

It sounds like most of the members of the Funpartment will be having fairly uneventful evenings tonight.  All except Pfeiffer, of course, who will be attending a Power Rangers concert with Ghostworld and her mom!

Have fun Pfeiffer!

Pfeiffer points out the terrible flaw in Mandel's thesis

The turtle probes for weaknesses in the glass. Oh Miles, always plotting your escape...
